Job Description of a Functional Consultant

• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations
• Identify Navision solution possibilities and discuss with business users
• Assist in the technical preparation of Business Process Procedures, Test Scenarios, End-user documentation, and User manuals.
• Work with minimal supervision. The analyst will be required to lead local and regional Navision module review session, requirement gathering session, facilitate requirements meetings, development walk through, and user acceptance testing sessions with the client.
• Work with the Business Analyst and the client to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.
• Provide functional process ownership of multiple business process areas
• Organize and facilitate problem-solving discussions with the client, internal operations team, and project managers to resolve issues requiring a focused approach to maintain project continuity and requirements.
• Prepare functionality specifications and delivers to technical developers
• Responsible for creating Functional Requirement Documents based on the discussion with the client
• Responsible for reviewing the unit test plans and the quality assurance plans to ensure all requirements have been met
• Responsible for supporting the developer and ensuring the developer remains on target
• Work with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirement   

• Good knowledge of C/AL programming and   Strong development experience with Navision
• Navision C/SIDE Solution Development certification.
• At least 2 Successful Implementation of the Projects
• Solid problem solving skills along with excellent interpersonal, verbal, writing, and communication skills.
• Candidates with Object oriented programming skills, software Implementation and business application experience preferred.
• Must have a good understanding of business processes.
• SQL Knowledge is required
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in Navision
• Qualification: Any Graduation

• Exposure on Siebel data model,Siebel EIM,PL/ SQL
• Data Modeling skills,Siebel data quality
• Knowledge on Siebel EAI, Siebel configuration and SQL will be an added advantage.
